Directors, Corey Hickey and Brooke Scriven, founded On Stage in 2001. Since then, they have directed theatre in the community and also directed The Whitman Middle School Theatre Experience for three years. Since that time, they produced musicals such as Annie, Willy Wonka, The Wizard of Oz, Seussical, Dear Edwina, Madeline's Christmas, The Nutcracker, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, High School Musical, High School Musical 2, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and more. Eventually, they transformed their theatre program into a full service, award-winning school of performing arts. Their students have won regionally and nationally in all areas of dance, voice, and acting. One of Brooke and Corey's favorite aspects of owning the studio is bringing the very best opportunities to their students. They have brought Broadway professionals to their studio to teach Master Classes as well as bringing their students to Broadway. Their connections to professionals in NYC help facilitate the very best opportunities. On Stage students are asked to perform at professional and local events. They take part in conventions to always be exposed to the latest in choreography, technique, and trends. Their students have gained acceptances to prestigious audition based summer theatre programs as well as top BFA Musical Theatre Colleges in the country.



​ Adam is very excited to be joining the On Stage faculty for the 2019-2020 year. He has been working in theatre education for the past thirteen years. Adam's students have gone on to study at some of the most prestigious universities in the country including NYU Tisch, Boston Conservatory, University of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan, The Hart School of Music and Emerson College. Adam has also directed in the community at Massasoit Theatre Company, Mansfield Music and Arts Society, Hingham Civic Theatre, as well as many local high schools. Adam is a seasoned Access Broadway veteran with many regional titles to his credit, including being the director of the 2018 Best Musical Theatre School at Nationals in New Jersey. Some of Adam's favorite directing credits include American Idiot, West Side Story. Assassins, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent, Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, and Our Town. Adam loves to spend time with people who share his passion for storytelling and is so thankful to the students of his past, present, and future for all they have taught him over the years.


Jaci received her ballet training from Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre as a student of the Young Dancers Program and YouthWorks, JMBT's pre-professional performance group. She also received training from the Boston Ballet School. As a student, she performed the role of "Clara" in JMBT's The Nutcracker, as well as the Company role of "Snowflake." In 2008, Ms. Sanford joined JMBT's professional company as an Apprentice and was promoted to Company Member the following year. She has performed in numerous works of original choreography by Jose Mateo, including featured roles in Mr. Mateo's Back to Bach, Circles, Covens, Danzones Balleticos, and Mozart Provoked, as well as the principal roles of "Dew Drop Fairy" and "Snow Queen" in The Nutcracker. She is also a member of the teaching faculty at JMBT. In 2014, Ms. Sanford graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in English, Extension Studies. She was recently cast as a principal dancer in the soon to be released feature film "Little Women." she is also recently completing a Master of Liberal Arts degree in English at Harvard University.

Lucille Butler has sung leading roles in operas and musicals in Boston and California for many years, including both Anna (Merry Widow) and Rosalinda (Fledermaus) for Janus Opera. For the past thirteen years she has been teaching voice at The James Library Center for the Arts in Norwell, MA. She is the Musical and Vocal Director at the On Stage. From 2005-2009 Lucille was on the faculty of the South Shore Charter Public School in Norwell, MA where she developed a vocal and drama program for students from 5th to 12th grades. As a Board Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing she has served as an adjudicator for various vocal competitions and chaired the NATS yearly Musical Theatre Festival. Ms. Butler has directed musicals ranging from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to The Mikado. Ms. Butler is a graduate of Newton College of the Sacred Heart and studied at the New England Conservatory of Music and Berklee College of Music. Lucille has coached her voice studetns to win both Regional and National Titles.


A native of Olathe, Kansas, Mr. Tom Davis currently lives in Whitman. He attended Ohio Northern University of Musical Theatre Performance. Previous directorial positions include; Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence, KS. Broadway at Baker Intensive Summer Camp in Baldwin City, KS., PS 142, Manhattan, NYC. Whitman-Hanson Reg. HS, and Derby Academy Summer Arts, Hingham, MA. Past credits include; Seussical the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, My Favorite Year, Bye Bye Birdie, 42nd Street, Once Upon A Mattress, Annie, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Once on this Island, and Steel Magnolias. Tom has also directed summer productions with On Stage; 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Seussical the Musical, and Dear Edwina. In addition to directing, Tom has taught acting, musical theatre, improv, and offered private acting lessons. He is also a professional non-union Stage Manager having Stage Managed three off-off Broadway plays and one off Broadway showcase. While living in New York City, Tom worked for HHC Marketing working with such shows as; The Boy from OZ with Hugh Jackman, Phantom of the Opera, Tom Stoppards Jumpers, Gypsy with Bernadette Peters, and Chicago. Tom Davis has coached his Acting, and Musical Theatre students to win Regional and National titles.


Jenna Patterson is a performer, choreographer and teacher. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with her Bachelor's Degree in Dance Performance, she started her professional career in Los Angeles. Jenna booked her first big gig as one of Beyonce's principle dancers in her “Run the World” music video and her Billboard Music Awards performance. For six years, Jenna danced with superstars such as KISS, Flo Rida, LMFAO, and Jermaine Jackson to name a few. Her television credits include ABC family’s “Bunheads,” “Just Dance” video game, “Shushybye Series,” and AMC networks docu-series “4th and Loud”. Jenna’s teaching credentials include IDA Hollywood, where she taught Hip-Hop to pre-professional dancers from all over the world. Her choreography was showcased in the hottest venues in LA, and she was also fortunate to choreograph music videos and live stage shows for such artists as Lauren Mayhew and Indie band, The Guards. Jenna has performed for both the Aria and Bellagio Hotels and Casinos in Las Vegas from 2010-2014. In 2014 she performed at the Grammys after party in Hollywood and the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. Jenna recently moved back to Boston, Massachusetts continuing to perform and choreograph locally spreading her energy everywhere she goes.


McKenna has trained in the performing arts since early elementary school. She was a team member of On Stage's first competition team. She has competed with solos, duets, trios, groups, and productions. Her team won many regional and national titles. She has choreographed platinum winning dance and theatre numbers at Access Broadway and other competitions. McKenna has also choreographed On Stage's recent full-scale production of High School Musical 2. She choreographs for our Elite Senior Musical Theatre Team, as well as our Youth Elite Dance Team.


Lauren Lombardi was born in New York and began dancing at the age of three. She began her training in Classical Ballet at the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in CT and also performed with the Nutmeg Ballet. Lauren continued her training with the Kirov Ballet, The American Repertory Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre before completing her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Utah. Lauren has also studied at Ballet West, Repertory Dance Theatre and Center Stage. Lauren was a teacher and choreographer for Dance Concepts in Utah and the Eva Carlston Academy where she taught Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary. Lauren also has a Masters of Education from Boston College.


Alexandria Dolan is a graduate of BSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and a Bachelor of Science n Elementary Education. In college, she studied Directing, Play Analysis, Theatre Management, Theatre History, and more. She was the Assistant Director of the theatre program at Carver Middle High School and after school program. She is an experienced stage performer, writer, and has a a passion for acting.
