Directors: Corey Hickey and Brooke Scriven
Corey and Brooke grew up in the performing arts. They  studied dance, musical theatre, and acting. Along with performing, they attended the prestigious Weist Barron School of Television Acting as well as private coaching through The Boston Agency and The Casting Company. They also studied television and voice work with local television personality Joan Quinn Eastman. Corey and Brooke worked in commercials and print work (magazines, newspapers, department store advertising etc.) and performed in musicals, grand openings, corporate events, as well as industry films.

They founded On Stage Theatre in 2001 and have directed full scale musicals, musical revues, showcases, and have served as Directors for The Whitman Middle School Theatre Experience since 2007. They have also developed a children’s television series called SPLAT! TV airing locally on Cable Access. Last year, they brought Broadway stars to teach a Master Class to On Stage Theatre students. Corey and Brooke are thrilled to bring more Broadway performers in the near future to bring working Broadway professionals and their experiences to share with their students.



Dance Director/Instructor: Bianca Bowen
Bianca has been performing since the age of two. She has studied ballet, pointe, lyrical, modern, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, tap, voice, and acting over the past 18 years. She was a member of the Easton Dance Academy competition team for five years where she won numerous, national top honors under the direction of Melissa Tarzopolous.  Bianca performed in On Stage Theatre’s High School Musical and Lights, Camera, Action! Then, brought her talent and creativity to High School Musical 2 to take the role of the show’s choreographer. Bianca is graduating from Dean College, in Franklin, MA, in May 2010 with her associates in dance. She is a member of Synergy, Dean College’s hip hop dance team. At Dean, she has studied under various well-known choreographers, such as: Joan Palladino, Kelly Peters, Nailah Bellinger, Bryan Steele, and Jean Wenzel. Bianca is also an accomplished singer, and has entertained audiences with her amazing voice.

Voice Director/ Instructor: Lucille Butler
Lucille Butler is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). As a Board member of the NATS-Boston Chapter, Ms. Butler is in her third year as chairperson and organizer of the Musical Theatre Festival Competition. She has been teaching voice for eleven years at the James Library Center for the Arts and for the past four years as Vocal Specialist at the South Shore Charter School, both in Norwell. With long personal performing experience in musical theater, dinner theater, and opera, Ms. Butler teaches all styles of music and healthy vocal technique. Lucille’s former and present students have successfully participated in music competitions. A recent student was a semi-finalist in the Boston Pops High School Sing Off in 2008 and had an opportunity to perform live with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops. She is looking forward to offering private and group lessons as well as some exciting vocal programs with On Stage Theatre starting summer of 2010.
